In a victory for citizens nationwide, the Michigan State Senate passed legislation on June 5^th to specify that healthcare insurance providers could not require in-person contact between a doctor and a patient for services appropriately provided through telemedicine. This piece of legislation allows patients to be reimbursed through the healthcare policy.  The Senate action followed earlier action taken by the Michigan House.
